This Policy explains how Cerberus Game Labs handles information when you use Cold Bearing.

Information we collect

We collect account information you provide, including email address and Commander display name; authentication and session records; campaign actions and game state; technical and security data such as request identifiers, timestamps, IP-derived connection information, browser details, and error logs; and support communications you send us, including message bodies and attachment metadata.

For War Bonds, we record the selected package and Faction, amount and currency, payment environment, PayPal order/capture identifiers, payment status, refund or reversal totals, policy version accepted, and your Wall of Fame choice. PayPal processes your payment credentials. We do not receive or store your complete card number or bank-account credentials.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts and campaigns, authenticate sessions, deliver transactional account email, process and reconcile War Bonds, calculate Faction modifiers, honor Wall of Fame choices, prevent abuse and fraud, secure and debug the service, answer support requests, enforce our Terms, and meet legal obligations. Resend processes outbound account email and inbound support email on our behalf, including delivery events, message content, and attachments.

Legal bases and choices

Depending on your location, processing may rely on performing our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the game, consent for optional publication, and compliance with law. Wall of Fame publication is optional and off by default. You may withdraw that choice by contacting us; withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.

Sharing and processors

We share information only as needed with service providers that host or secure the service, PayPal for payment processing, professional advisers, and authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information or publish War Bond amounts. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices where applicable.

Retention and security

We retain account and game records while needed to provide the service. Payment and audit records may be retained longer for reconciliation, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance. Logs are retained only as reasonably needed for operations and security. We apply technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and sessions

Cold Bearing uses essential session and security cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. They are required for authenticated features. We do not describe optional advertising cookies because Cold Bearing does not use them at this policy's effective date.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may complain to your local privacy authority. Some records may be retained when legally required or necessary to establish or defend claims. Contact us through the official support/contact channel published by Cold Bearing or Cerberus Game Labs and provide enough detail to verify and fulfill the request.

Children, transfers, and changes

Cold Bearing is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to this processing in their location. Information may be processed in countries other than yours with safeguards required by applicable law. We may update this Policy and will post a new effective date; material changes apply prospectively.
